B U S Y

Times are hectic but it's been a good week. Glissando got in the NME... pretty interesting considering, and we've had a load of other wonderful reviews through.

I've just done a spot of recording for a beautiful band called The Amber Sleep www.myspace.com/theambersleep - they opened for Glissando in Leeds in May and have some quite amazing songs. We have only recorded some string parts this week so it's all in rough form but beautiful all the same.

We had our first rehearsal since the May tour this week which brought some interesting sounds and some potential new songs. Not yet though.

Elly is at Glastonbury and I'm attempting to arrange the last bits and pieces for the tour next week wishing I had some kind of alcohol to at least make this post more interesting.
Sorry.

Too many shows, not enough dollar

This sucks.
Probably the best run of shows in a week I've ever seen in Leeds.
How to choose between (well i missed Fleet Foxes last night already) Deerhunter, Melt Banana, Rival Schools, Twilight Sad + Her Name is Calla (this is a must), I Concur, iLiKETRAiNS, Held By Hands... god damn it.

So the Glissando record is out in a week.... yeah!

The July tour is just around the corner and the September tour is coming together too.
